Tatsuda NYC opening executive chef was a highly experienced New York City sushi chef Alan Zheng. Zheng grew up in Queens, NY and learned the Japanese way of cooking with seasonal ingredients from a young age. Started his journey in the Japanese Cuisine way back 2005 at Chikurin NY as a Sushi Helper and work himself up as The Head Chef. He also gained most of his knowledge and mastery of art from Red Plum, Nutsumi, Sushi by suite 1001.
May of 2021, he opened his first Omakase restaurant. Omakase by Korami, one of NYC’s best for its intimacy and welcoming hospitality.
The moody atmosphere provides a relaxing backdrop for the meal. Tatsuda NYC offers a 14-course Omakase for 75 minutes at $90/pp. We offer selections of sake, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage fermented, brewed, and imported from Japan. We also have wines and other beverages.
